They came out the same day, arrived on time, and provided excellent trouble shooting on eight detectors in our home with extra high ceilings.  It turned out to be loose wiring in two detectors. Kai, the technician, was very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient in his work. The problem was identified and then repaired quickly and at a VERY FAIR AND REASONABLE PRICE. I would highly recommend APEX for any electrical repairs.
