Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance for Your HVAC System

Regular preventive maintenance for your HVAC system is essential for its optimal performance and longevity. One key aspect of maintenance is regularly replacing or cleaning the air filters to ensure proper airflow and prevent dust and debris buildup, which can reduce efficiency and indoor air quality. Another important task is cleaning the evaporator and condenser coils to remove dirt and debris, which can impede airflow and reduce efficiency. It’s also crucial to inspect and clean the ductwork for leaks, damage, or blockages to ensure proper airflow throughout your home. Additionally, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting and lubricating moving parts, verifying thermostat settings, and inspecting electrical connections are all important maintenance tasks to keep your HVAC system running smoothly. Professional maintenance at least once a year is recommended to perform a comprehensive inspection and tune-up for optimal performance and efficiency. By taking proactive measures to maintain your HVAC system, you can enjoy improved comfort, lower energy bills, and peace of mind knowing your system is operating efficiently.

We feel fortunate to have found Steven at Apex for our project. We needed electrical fixes on a new build home that we are purchasing from out of state. From the get-go, he was understanding and wanted to help us through the complexities. Throughout the project, he was responsive, proactive, and went the extra mile to get our home up to code. Thanks again, Steven!

We lost electricity inside our house late at night around 11:30pm. We called Apex and spoke with Randall. He was quick to take down our info and send out a tech that night. We decided to just wait for the morning to have a tech out. The tech arrived promptly on time at 8am and within 30 minutes had quickly identified and corrected the problem. He thoroughly explained the cause and how to avoid this in the future. I would highly recommend Apex Electrical AC & Heating and will be using them in the future, should any other issues occur. Speaking to Randall over the phone assured us we were in good hands.

August 4, 2023, around 8 PM we noticed our AC started to make a noise as well as the temp in our home not going to cooling temp. I called around at least 10 different places and everyone was booked and could not come out and help us. We are a family of 7 with 5 children and 3 animals. As many know Texas is HOT in the summer. Omar answered when I called and immediately told me he would call one of the other technicians to come out as soon as they could. 2 hours later another technician was able to come and fix our AC within 20 min. He explained everything to us and what went wrong and quickly got us back to cooling off. We were pleased with how fast they were able to come to us on an emergency call.
